QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, New York Jets)

I am not here to argue your point, or debate Justin Fields NFL success... i am simply here to point out you are a micro-dicked, shit-breathed, cock-sucking wolverine. Whose mother was a whore and whose father was the a spineless little shit gibbon.
Sometimes personal attacks cross the line. I mean, calling somebody a wolverine …

:slappy:

Come up with a list of 1st round picks who did not make it with their drafting team and became a star with another. Goff might be the best example but it's an extremely short list.

Accuracy cannot be learned during your 4th year in the NFL.
I don't know that accuracy is actually his main issue. I think the speed of his football processor (not his general intelligence) just isn't fast enough, and I suspect that can't really be changed enough to lead to great success either.

This, slow processing of the defense will make a lot of throws look inaccurate. He's not exactly a sniper either but the culprit is his inability to dissect the defense at a an elite speed.

Justin was what….4 and 2 (maybe 5 and 2) as starter of Pittsburgh last year.

In the right system I think he’s a very good player, but the team has to play to his strengths.

He needs a “Pittsburgh-esque” franchise that is committed to ball control offense and have a stout defense. Let Justin make periodic plays with his freakish athleticism, but in general, a very simplified gameplan.

I think the Browns would’ve been dangerous last year with Fields instead of washed up DeShaun Watson. Justin gives teams a huge financial advantage across the roster since he doesn’t demand massive $$$ at QB position.

He’s not going to be seen as elite by any means, but if a GM is looking at value at the position and knows how to build a strong team around him, using the money saved by not sinking 25% of the cap into the QB I think he’s very capable of leading a team deep into playoffs. It’s all about fit and roster construction…..

If he gets a real shot though, he could do big things. They definitely have weapons over there including Wilson and Ruckert being reunited.

I don't like that he gets to play the Dolphins twice per year though considering he had almost 200 yards rushing against us last time.

Uh, that's not how the NFL works in 2025. If that's the QB you have, then you don't have much of a QB. And certainly not one who is going to do anything in January.

I’d keep an eye on the Jets and an OSU “pipeline”. The Eagles just won a Super Bowl essentially importing UGA’s culture into their locker room.

It’s not a bad idea when considering how fractured an NFL roster can be. Reuniting a bunch of players who have history and a culture of grinding experiences out together can certainly be an edge over other locker rooms in the NFL when wins and losses are determined in such small margins.

Not saying I’m wishing any Buckeye ends up on the Jets, bc it’s like being selected by the Titanic. I just get the feeling they might be copying a blueprint set by the Eagles…..
