If Day really likes Air Noland, he should try to keep him. If Bill O'Brien does good things here, that's great, but it will also probably mean he will be up for a head coaching jobs at some point. If Sayin is coming to play for Bill O'Brien then he probably will leave with Bill O'Brien if he gets a head coaching job at a good program.

Air Noland wants to play for Day and I'd rather prioritize the guys who want to play for our head coach than a guy who wants to play for our newly hired OC.

You didn’t watch any “loyalty” thing play out with Kyle. He was the best option last season but then wasn’t guaranteed to start next year so he left. That narrative is tired.

This is something totally different and could kill depth in the future. But I get it, everybody is in “win now” mode.

Yeah it could poison recruiting if handled wrong. Probably not overall but at least in the area

College football has gone to hell in a hand basket and this is one example of why.
