QB Julian "Just" Sayin (National Champion)

I’m excited to see Sayin play but people need to temper their expectations at first next season. Hell, I remember being down on Stroud after the Oregon game his first season and we know how that turned out. I’d imagine he’ll struggle some against Texas and then settle in as the season progresses. Bucks are the odds on favorite to win the natty next season, so Vegas must know something about him as well.

Wisdom. Hopefully everyone will give him time to grow. Having a strong OL and an excellent TE to throw to will also help in his development.

Yeah no kidding… I really wish we didn’t have enormous OOC games anymore. Sounds terrible I know but with how good the big ten is you really risk losing most of your room for error after week 1.

Just a terrible idea all the way around.

That said, hopefully Sayin can add a bit more size to get to that 215 range.

I have no problem with playing Texas early on. It gives us a chance to size up the competition and if things don’t go our way (Ala Oregon 24), it gives us something to build towards. I’m all for hardening the team up for the stretch run. It’s non conference so it really won’t impact us that much if we lose. A two loss OSU team will get in again.

I think next year has the potential to be a sneaky good season. As fans we just need to know that we won’t see a finished product going in. It’s going to take some time for the team to gel. When they do, I pity the fools who draw us in December, Sayin will be a force by then.

My hopes are up based on the QB's that decided to transfer rather than compete. It would be nice to get in the 2 year cycle of first round QB's again where they are all varying levels of awesome.
Exactly. Who was the last 1-year starter at QB that accomplished anything here?

j/k, and I know you’re ’just sayin’.

Ha yeah but what if we lose 2 more?

Let’s say we lose to Texas, lose another big ten conference game, and then lose in the conference championship. That’d suck pretty royally.

Basically Penn state from this year except they never play anyone good non conference
