As someone who left the Buckeyes voluntarily, I'm not "happy for him." The most I can say is I wish him well.
And his early graduation earned him the right to transfer without penalty. Kid has a degree from Ohio State. Wish him nothing but the best.So he could spend his senior season holding a clipboard and doing mop up duty? He now has a chance to get to the nfl. Good for him. The college foosball is a mercenary business. Burrow by all accounts worked hard, was a good teammate and never embarrassed the university off the field. He chose to leave because the path to starting at Ohio State had slammed shut on him. I absolutely want to see him do well, and I would absolutely want Tony Accardo's great grandson to plant him into the turf if we meet them in a bowl game. These things aren't inconsistent.
Yeah, because I said he did something wrong. Oh, that's right, I didn't.Yeah, how dare this kid do something in the best interest of his personal future...
I don't understand why Joe Burrow starting at QB for Louisiana State is "awesome." Not at all.
I mean, I wish him well and all that, but if we play the Bayou Tigers in a bowl or the playoffs, I hope Nick Bosa drills him a new one, repeatedly.
Still playing the victim card, I see. No one here "idolizes" him. But it's still OK for tOSU fans to be happy for his potential success, and the even think it's "awesome" that's he has earned the starting spot at a top-name school. And if his decision isn't "in the best interests the Ohio State Buckeyes", so be it. Are you "not happy for him" for those that leave early for the draft? You're weren't happy for Zeke Elliott or Joey Bosa? I mean, their decisions to leave a year were hardly in the Buckeyes' best interest...Yeah, because I said he did something wrong. Oh, that's right, I didn't.
As I said, I bear Burrow no ill will. Just find it odd that so many people here seem to idolize him. He's someone who made a decision that he thought best for him, but that decision was hardly in the best interests of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Did you all idolize LeBron when he left Cleveland for Miami to advance his self-interest? I don't think so.
Neither Elliott nor Bosa transferred to a rival school.Still playing the victim card, I see. No one here "idolizes" him. your mother is an idiot.I don’t have a problem with anything Joe has done. But you will never convince my 90 year old mother of that. She said he should stick with his commitment...she hopes he fails big time.
In what bizarro world is LSU a rival school? Are you struggling to spell competent ? Also, if he went to Ball State, would that somehow make the ethics different to you?Neither Elliott nor Bosa transferred to a rival school.
Again, what was your reaction when LBJ fled to Miami? If you regarded him as a traitor, and lionize Burrow, you're being inconsistent.
Taivon Jacobs tried to do that among many others. His reward was being hit sticked by the staff, then Denzel Ward.I don’t have a problem with anything Joe has done. But you will never convince my 90 year old mother of that. She said he should stick with his commitment...she hopes he fails big time.
