QB Joe Burrow (transfer to LSU, 2019 Heisman Winner, National Champion, Cincinnati Bengals)

This just isn't the same LSU team that was a terror for so long in the SEC. But let's wish Joe well.
Which is kind of astonishing that they ditch Les Miles and get worse. All they had to do was NOT replace him with the goofus they picked, and they'd at least keep it rolling at 9-10 wins. Imagine that talented state with even a halfway competent coach.

Every time I think of LSU, I still think “they hired Ed Orgeron?”

That would have been like us hiring Tim Beckman in November 2011 without even kicking the tires on Urban, or, hell, anybody else...

Anyway, give ‘em hell Jeaux.

Maybe they are just waiting for Saban to retire before making an effort?

Though it's not like they are paying Orgeron peanuts in the mean time.

Awesome. He is going to be in the spotlight right away, #24 LSU plays #8 Miami right out of the gate on Sunday in prime time. Already planned on watching that game, but it just got even more interesting now.
I don't understand why Joe Burrow starting at QB for Louisiana State is "awesome." Not at all.

I mean, I wish him well and all that, but if we play the Bayou Tigers in a bowl or the playoffs, I hope Nick Bosa drills him a new one, repeatedly.

Ummm, how are those 2 things related to one another? You cannot be Happy for him and hope OSU crushes lsu if they play each other?

As someone who left the Buckeyes voluntarily, I'm not "happy for him." The most I can say is I wish him well.
When it was clear he was not going to play. But you keep that huge asterisk next to wishing him well.

Just say you're selfish and want him on this team. Don't try and force others to join you, or fake confusion about how they're happy for him.

Your heel routine isn't even a true opposite. Most people wish there was a way for him to still be here, but realize it's more fair to let him realize his dream.
