I am very concerned with Joe trying to handle any pressure Miami brings

Maryland didn't feel much pressure from Miami, although two of their starters on the DL were suspended for that game (they're back but aren't starting yet). Hoping to see a lot of Braxton, but Joe will be fine. He's going to get better every week, every rep. He and the coaches know what needs worked on.

Don't remember who the other guy is but a saw a Miami beat writer who said Forston would start tomorrow.

Maryland also did a lot of quick-hitter type passes. Hoping the Bucks take a page from their book.

I'm betting the Baus has a monster game this weekend and puts this entire discussion to bed (until he struggles at home against Colorado). I'm looking for 15-23 passing, 2 TD's and 210 yards while only playing about 65% of the snaps. Then after the game, he shows up at ESPN studios and blasts a Baus-sized turd on Mark May's face. MONSTER DAY! Let's go Joe, show these doubters who is DA BAUS!

What can I say, I feel like the dude needs at least one solid supporter. I feel this becoming Bellisari all over again, and I still hate the way "we" treated that guy.

Agreed. I'm am just not sure if we have many of those in the playbook. Coaching staff better be up to the challenge this weekend. Lining up and playing smashmouth may not cut it.

Every tOSU fan should want Joe B to succeed but wanting him to be Joe Montana or Tom Brady wont happen because he doesn't have those skills..and thats not knocking Joe..we just need the best Joe B has and see if its enouigh ..you shouldn't boo Joe because he isn't Andrew Luck

I think everyone does, and I think people calling for Braxton are being wrongly categorized as people that are just pulling for one player over another. That's not the case, it's just that when an offense goes without points in drive after drive after drive after drive with one quarterback, and the other guy is listed with an "or" in the depth chart, then one would think the other guy would then be put in the game.

However, I think everyone hopes Joe comes out and kills it tomorrow night (if not there's something wrong), but if he doesn't we'll want to see Miller get a chance. It's nothing personal against JoeB.

Get Stoney involved early and often and the safeties will be miles away from the line of scrimmage. That will slow the pressure some.

Get the swing passes and screens into the game plan and that will slow it some more. Its up to the line and how bad they want to win this game as to how well Joe does tonight.

Joe is a great guy, great leader, I believe he is helping Braxton learn a lot. I just don't think Joe has that torque to squeeze in big time throws. There will come times in the game when we need that. Gotta take it one week at a time and hope they make each other better.

A great leader isn't laughing on the sideline in the 4th quarter after he led the offense to yet another 3 and out while the team is down 2 scores. I lost a lot of respect for him after seeing that.
