QB Jack Miller (transfer to Florida)

Not welcomed....or not invited?

No offense, but that’s crap. I GUARANTEE every commit has an open invite to all games. There’s 2 bigger games on the horizon with Wisconsin and Penn State, don’t be shocked to see the west coast contingent at one of them.

To imply that Jack is being recruited over with Stroud is a bit careless.

Agree. I think they are in a position in the QB room right now where they want/take both. Let things sort themselves out when they both finally get an opportunity to fight for the job.

I think the coaches have been honest with him from everything that has been put out there.

They’ve told him that they’re recruiting another QB and it’s been obvious it’s Stroud. Miller has said he is ready to compete.

I just don’t see the issue...

Could also be this... Rankings update released on a saturday.... dropped 55 spots... so to me its not clear cut its about OSU “doing him dirty” as someone said

And to add to your info @AuTX Buckeye :
Scottsdale (Ariz.) Chaparral quarterback Jack Miller has yet to replicate the success of his early high school career and has missed significant chunks of the last two seasons with injuries. In reassessing the quarterback rankings, we felt a three-star rating of 88 is appropriate given Miller's body of work as a junior and senior.
I would still welcome Miller into this class, but it looks like another example of a Danny Clark scenario, offering a kid who looked really good early, and as his HS career is coming to a close, his upperclassmen years haven' looked nearly as good. This is the business of CFB. No hard feelings for the kid, but he has a tough decision to make, stay strong with your OSU pledge and compete against a kid who has seen his stock rise like a rocket and who's best football may be ahead of him(and for all we know Miller could stay healthy from here on out and be a prolific OSU QB), or decommit and head to a lesser known big name school(i.e. Arizona, Utah, UCLA, etc). Both he and Stroud can succeed in this offense

think we'll have a pretty good idea where we stand at the QB position after his visit. I hope we can maintain his committment with the recruitment of Stroud seemingly picking up positive steam.

As long as the coaches are upfront with both QB's, and I think they have been to this point, I think they can land both. The room needs an obvious upgrade after the attrition at the position this past year so bring them both in and each will get a fair shake once they get here.
