What's that about 2 beers in an hour for a guy JTs size? .08 is pretty easy to attain. I realize he isn't 21 but I'm just keeping things in perspective.

Exactly. JT isn't far off from 21 either (I don't believe?) I'm not trying to absolve him for his misdeed, clearly he made a mistake.
However, JT wasn't blowing three times the limit, driving on a sidewalk, hitting pedestrians, other cars and/or property.
I drank A LOT more than our QB at that point in my life, so the fact he barely blew at the legal threshold to me, says quite a bit.

I'm as disappointed as anyone but I really hope Urban sticks to his guns and does the 2 game suspension. Favoritism, even if its just perceived and not literal, would damage his credibility some at OSU. If he goes the full route against JT here it would have to verify his serious intentions towards really teaching these guys life lessons as well. Out for Minny and Illinois is actually what I would hope he does even though it would suck.
I guess Burrow better be paying extra close attention to reps and playbooks this week.

I think it would send more of a message to suspend for 1 game and then make him watch from the sideline for a second, although it would be better for CJ if he wasn't looking over his shoulder at all.

I would not be surprised if JT is suspended for 2 games plus his starter spot outright pulled unless he really goes balls to wall in practices from here on out. Urban talked up JT a few times on his media blitz for the book, so he's probably a little extra pissed off about this and will be making sure he doesn't contradict the things he just said to the media all week.

If we do that 36 we had better be preparing Cardale for MSU AND Scum as well. Personally I think 1 game is good but I wouldn't complain if it's 2. If it's 2 games though it'd be tough for JT to play against MSU seeing as how he will not have played for close to a month by then

I think that wouldnt be much of a problem considering he barely got minutes until the last couple games. The way he usually engages in practice and while on the headsets in the game, he would be ready for MSU and Michigan. I think he'll be ready to go but coach has to be backed into a corner right now with his guy being the one to put him there. Sucks all the way around for sure.
