I don't think anyone based in reality thought otherwise. The talking heads don't even acknowledge him, but they needed a third guy.

I'm glad Haskins got the trip to NY, though. He deserved that, at a minimum.

I love me some Dwayne Haskins.

The guy is a beast.

The numbers speak for themselves.

He should win the Heisman.


That said, that fourth quarter...Haskins got the ball to the receivers but damn did they and the other blockers make the plays. I credit the receivers and blocking big time on that comeback. Some easy pitch and catch (minus that throw to Victor, which wasn’t a pretty throw) and the WR just used the blocking and crushed it. The furthest any ball went from LOS to catch on those two drives was 12 yards (the Victor catch.) The blocking and YAC was tremendous.

Blocking? C'mon, on the last TD McLaurin only took out 3 Nit defenders. There were other guys just a few more yards away he could have tried to get a piece of.

Screw ESPN and their agenda and the folks (about 10 percent) who voted before the conference championships. If you look at the stats, the defenses they had to go against, and their value to their team then the order should be:

Haskins-1a
Murray-1b
Tua -2

It should come down to Murray and Haskins with Tua third. But the order will probably be Murray or Tua and Haskins a distant third.

Has -10% chance to win the Heisman tonight, but honestly, who the hell cares!?! At the end of the day, between the 3 men, Haskins will have the last laugh as he will have a much better NFL career than the other 2. Heisman winners haven't ever fared that well in the NFL. If Haskins gets with a solid team with a solid coach, he has all of the measurable that the NFL looks for. I mean honestly that is the end game. Trophies are cute, but they don't pay the bills
