As we’ve discussed previously, pff uses the pro formula. The upshot is that Haskins is very close to maxing the pro formula on screens. A lot of that is because of the way defenses have chosen to defend the Buckeyes, but it’s still a solid indication of how dangerous this team is and how well they execute. There have been years where screens were likely to be broken up or lose yardage. For this team they’re one of several lethal weapons

Right? What they aren't saying here is that tsun, Oregon State, Rutgers and TCU all used the "make him beat you deep" defense because of the uniform he was wearing.

Penn State saw the film of their results with that approach and tried something else.

The media better not start spinning this to where he is portrayed as some kind of weak armed system QB that can't throw anything but screens.

Haskins can make all the throws. He is currently just exploiting what the defenses are giving him to an almost perfect level.

Absolute beast. Far and away the MVP this season. Even with a wilting run game and bad pass blocking in the second half, Haskins basically carried the team and threw for only the second 400 yard passing game in OSU history.

Really hoping that the OL and run game can pick itself up to help him out.
