QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. (All B1G, B1G OPOY, Silver Football, Rose Bowl MVP, R.I.P.)

Nope he confirmed it... .what a fucking dumbass.... so disappointed

Honestly he needs to go across the country sounds like he needs to grow up. Going home for your career can be terrible for young people cause they have family and friends growing up telling you how wonderful you are even before you have done anything. I don't think he's a bad kid from all I have heard just incredibly immature and needs to get away from family and people who are telling him he is great

I’ve always heard really positive things about Dwayne on a personal level. People in the program thought he was a great kid.

It’s disappointing to see these situations popping up. Apparently this isn’t the first Covid mistake he made....after being benched for Allen, I was told the reason he didn’t dress was not because he had been demoted to third team (behind Smith) but they were punishing him internally for bringing a woman into the team hotel....I can’t verify that, but was told the team was pissed. This would prob be last straw if you’re Washington....

Butt-ugly strippers as well.

Yeah, but that must be what comes with the stripper's economy "six pack" group rate.

Similar positive things were said about Zeke when he was at OSU. And his apparent immaturity has also shown up in the NFL. It’s hard to tell what millions will do to a young mans ego

Ehh....Zeke had some behavioral issues. They had to switch his roommates a few times trying to reign in his partying. Not saying he was "bad" but he certainly liked to have fun to excess.

Yeah Zeke had his dad move here to keep him in line. Zeke had known issues. Haskins just seems like one of the many getting rich and being around the boys he grew up with isn't necessarily the best for him. It happens to a lot of people. See Oden having alcohol problems after getting hurt etc. I don't think Haskins is bad just immature and shouldn't be around people who are trying to make a brand before he even played his first snap. Now that's hard cause at least some of those people are family. On the bright side he has made it through the day without being cut so someone in that org still believes in him it seems.

Fined 40k and they took away his captaincy. I'm surprised they didn't take away the latter when they domoted him to 3rd strink. But he's still the guy to start if Alex can't go.

Dwayne Haskins fined $40K by Washington Football Team, no longer a captain

The Washington Football Team fined quarterback Dwayne Haskins $40,000 and removed him from the role of team captain three days after he was photographed at an event with strippers while not wearing a mask.

"The biggest thing is we are holding him accountable and he's been punished and he accepted it," Washington coach Ron Rivera said. "As we go forward, that's the thing that we're looking for, is that if you make a mistake, you've got to step up and you have to take responsibility."

But there's still a chance Haskins will continue to start for Washington (6-8), which hosts the Carolina Panthers (4-10) on Sunday. Alex Smith did not practice because of his strained right calf, limiting him to playing catch while his teammates stretched.

"I know my team needs me," Haskins said. "I need to step up to the plate and I can't be selfish and I need to stop getting in my own way. I'm putting things in motion as far as a plan for myself to be a better teammate and be more accountable and fix my issues that have brought me to this situation."

On Sunday, Haskins attended his girlfriend's birthday party at a hotel where strippers were present. It was the second time he violated COVID-19 protocols this season. Earlier this year, he made a reservation for a family friend at the team hotel the night before a game at the New York Giants.
