You kids stay off my lawn!
My concern, first and foremost, is CJ's health. He was hurt during pre-season as noted by BTN reporters on their visit to OSU. I watched him rotating his arm constantly during the Minnesota game, the Oregon game, and last week. His reluctance to pull the ball down and run for it, something he had demonstrated he was capable of doing, seemed to also suggest that he wasn't @ 100%.
If Day believes that CJ gives the Bucks the best chance to win a game, and if he believes CJ is physically capable, then I trust his call. But I also think back to 1969 and Woody picking Rex Kern with back spasms over Ron Macejowski who was at 100% and had proven capable in previous games when Kern was hurt, to start in The Game. It was clear from the first quarter on that Kern was not "on" that day, but Woody stuck with him until the 4th quarter by which time Michigan smelled victory.
