When the game starts it will be about 6 weeks from the tsun game. That's more than a training camp to work as the undisputed starter. And for a guy as inexperienced as he is, it's hard to be more battle tested than coming into a one-score rivalry game, playing in a conference championship game, and then playing the #1 team in the country in a playoff semifinal.

At this point he's good to go.

It was glorious. Collins was scared to attack Cardale, I watched him specifically in the game, after the first time Cardale clobbered him, he would sit and wait for him to run him over, he was fucking scared of him, I loved it. I'm sure that had an effect on Collins' shoulder injury as well.

I can only imagine what hes going through. I lost my mom unexpectedly last year days before Christmas (a few weeks after the birth of my daughter).
This team has dealt with more adversity and strife as the season went on. I love that they channel it into winning and playing hard on the field.

Well, that just let all the wind out of my sails...

I just came in here to say "12 GAUGE, BABY! CARDALE JONES!"

Sigh. That's going to be rough. CJ is always smiling and I'm sure this is hitting him hard, especially since it sounds like he's close to his uncle. When my uncle passed I was a complete wreck. Good thing is, I know Cardale has tons of support and family surrounding him. I don't think there's a guy on this team that wouldn't drop what they're doing to give him an ear.
