Scary part is that we got lucky that JT got injured in 2014, Cardale was the catalyst for that title. I don't see JT converting 4/5+ third and longs against that Bama defense.

Nah....that's only cuz you watched him regress over 4 years. RS Freshman JT might not even have been in 5+ third and longs against that Bama D.

The game before his injury, JT went 25-32 for 302, 71% 4 td 2 int + another 78 on the ground.
The game before that was the blizzard (where he racked up 389 yds & 4 tds against 1 int).
The game before that was the incredible performance vs sparty, 16-26 for 300 yds 3 td 1 int + another 86 yds 2 tds on teh ground.

This wasn't the Urban/Ed offense, or the 400 hits later JT.

He certainly would have scored on one of those early drives inside the 5. Cardale was a gifted collection of extremes.
