This was a great american tragedy, but the world is full of tragedies. Children die every day, many in more gruesome ways then these kids did. As horrible as this was, if it was this event that somehow changed one's mind about the existence of god then said person has really had their head buried under a rock/has not read very many history books. Maybe this helps reinforce your argument, but most people who believe in God and are really putting thought into their beliefs would not pretend to see all ends.

This is equally ridiculous and I'm not even sure what you are trying to argue here.

If you are essentially saying that the school wasn't "protected" because they don't "teach kids about God" that is absurd, considering shootings have taken place in churches themselves this argument is pretty flawed.


If you are making a general argument about people being brought up without god and going on to live immoral lives or whatever that's also crap. Why does a school need to teach such things? Is this something that they wouldn't be able to get from say...their own frigging parents/guardians? I mean really?

I think that God punishes those who are obviously disregarding/disobeying him and his word. For example, the fact that as a country we are starting to allow gay marriage, he will punish our country for that, as it is clearly written that homosexuality is a sin. We as a nation continue to make decisions that are against Gods word, and until we learn to not go against him unfortunately, disasters, natural disasters, etc will continue to happen. Our culture here in the US is horrible. it is greedy, money driven, materialistic people, im surprised worse things havent happened here. Look at the book of Judges in the bible. Israel followed God, then strayed away from him. When that happened, he punished Israel until they relalized what they were doing. Then when they followed God again, he did not allow bad things to happen to Israel.

But for something like what happened in CT, he has a plan for all of us. Put your trust and your life in him, and you will live like kings and have eternal life. Life on this earth is only temporary. And unfortunately evil is also here on this earth which causes pain and suffering. Hebrews 12:5-14 tells us that God sometimes allows hard times to happen to His children as opportunities to grow by overcoming challenges.

I never once said that CT happened because of homosexuality. I was making a general statement in the top. Did you not read the 2nd paragraph?

I was using homosexuality as an example. I also mentioned natural disasters. I can list more....cancer, the state of the economy, food issues, diseases, etc...

You can't pinpoint how homosexuality is being punished by. But one way homosexuals are being punished is their life expectancy.

You are aware that they've occurred even before men were putting their penises in other men, right? I mean... you know... the weather's sorta been doing its things since... well.. like.. well... certainly since 4004 BC

Actually God does care about money. He states that you must pay your taxes and tithe. He states if you are able to, give to others who are less fortunate. It is a sin when that becomes the focus of living

Cancer has become very widespread recently.
Poor state of the economy is because of poor choices. That is because we put the wrong leaders at the helm. Someone who doesn't support life and supports homosexuality is not someone who has a close relationship with God

Prove it. Because, to tell you the truth, I haven't seen this at all. What I HAVE seen is more knowledge of these disasters because... wait for it... technology provides us the ability to know what's going on in the world on a moments notice.
