Preseason and Regular Season Polls (2016)

I'm still guessing they roll into Columbus no worse than 10 and 1. Sparty might get them or they might lose a shoot out to IU. But the rest? We're close to being back to the days of the Big Two and the eight dwarfs.

We shall see

I think an inordinate amount of production from the QB position is being assumed given the track record of O'Korn and Speight. I also think that if they aren't getting the type of QB play they received last year then their other weaknesses are going to come shining through. Specifically OL and RB.

Guys, just forget about the season. My Facebook friends have already claimed a NC for TTUN. The Sports Illustrated cover is their evidence. Oh well, I am sure the Buckeyes would have given us a helluva season to watch but no use now that SI and Facebook say otherwise.

To SI's credit, they did correctly predict three of the four teams to make the initial college football playoff in 2014:

That said, any prediction that Michigan is truly any good is full of shit...

Those rebound predictions were a little, off.

Florida went 7-5
Louisville did go 9-4 including an appearance as Vicky the eyeless prison bitch in the Belk Bowl (which is success for them I guess).
Farmer tore his MCL and ACL in pre season and never played a down. He is currently a RB on the Seahawk practice squad near as I can tell.

How about the other four?
There were no "other four." From 1949 - the year Michigan State entered the Big Ten to replace Chicago - to 1993 - the year Penn State began competing - Michigan and Ohio State won or shared the Big Ten football championship 19 times apiece. This domination was especially evident from 1965 to 1990. Hence, the Big Two and the eight dwarfs - not the twelve dwarfs.
