Vegas must be counting on Nebraska coming in exhausted after playing Wisconsin. Only way that makes sense. This must be a typo. No way there should be a '1' at the beginning of that spread.

Dryden's right. If we win my 10+ points I'll be very pleasantly surprised...This must be a typo. No way there should be a '1' at the beginning of that spread.
I agree, so I checked...........16.5!This must be a typo. No way there should be a '1' at the beginning of that spread.
Sorry Buckeye and Spartan Fans, But It's Over For You Now
Sure, they were here this past year and lost to every Big Ten team with merit that they played, but when it truly mattered — like in the Citrus Bowl — they handled a Florida team without a quarterback with the kind of punishing hand normally reserved for a 1970’s school principal.
And now they are bringing that kind of buttoned-down short-sleeved discipline to the rest of the college football world, and a nation has taken notice.
Following Monday night’s national championship game, various media outlets are already releasing their “Way Too Early” rankings for 2016, and basically the rest of the Big Ten is going to have to start asking Michigan’s permission to even use the bathroom around here.
ESPN has Michigan at No. 4, behind only Clemson, Alabama and Baylor, which makes you think that those three teams are gonna be pretty damn good next year if they are ahead of the Wolverines.
Ohio State and Michigan State, meanwhile, are at Nos. 12 and 14, respectively. You guys had a hell of a run. You will always have the memories, provided you don’t replace them with images of Jim Harbaugh hoisting trophy after shimmering trophy right in your faces.
FOX also has Michigan at No. 4, behind Clemson, Florida State and Alabama. Michigan State and Ohio State find themselves at No. 13 and No. 14, respectively.
How do you guys feel about December bowl games, because you’re gonna have to get used to them. But at least your Januaries will be free to watch and see just how it’s done.
The USA Today went one better on Michigan, however, by putting them at No. 3, behind only Clemson and Alabama. Clearly, and rightfully, any perceived concerns about a new quarterback, or a lack of a consistent running game, or an inability to defend a talented spread offense did not deter the paper from giving the Wolverines as much credit as they truly deserve.

No more than -7. I was thinking this would be a field goal game that could go either way.I was thinking -7 to -10
I have a confession to make...
The Saturday we played Wisconsin, I was at work, mulling over whether or not I should go pick up my 'lucky' hand knit Buckeye blanket. My grandma made it and I used it during the very cold 2014 Championship season. Since moving to Florida, it was put in storage & been there all season.
I was told, no, ordered to go get the blanket after work by my fellow Buckeye Planet members. My work day ended at 6, and storage was an hour away. Suddenly my husband's reasoning that we couldn't " suddenly uncage that kind power on an unsuspecting public. Not until a Championship do we dare," he texted. "It's too soon, you must keep it secret...keep it safely locked away."
I think he just wanted me to come home. Not to mention the thought of driving up to the unit, sifting through boxes after waking up at 5:45 am wasn't very appealing. So, I rolled the dice & didn't get the blanket.
Now I feel as if the Wisconsin OT, PSU loss, and lack-luster performance against NW is partially on me, guys.
I vow to go and get that damn blanket this Thursday, my day off. And, once it's "unleashed" I will post a pic as proof. Here's hoping it still has the magic.
Damn you. Damn you straight to hell. I specifically told you to go get that blanket and now you've damned us all. Now you must be shamed.

Just re-reading this January 12th post. From an October 31st, 2016 perspective, not so far wrong (except for ranking the pitiful Spartans at all).
Sort of a late-blooming Halloween horror story.
