Premier League (Official Thread)

I'm still laughing while reading the headline that City lost $85 million in 2013.

I think the Sheik's can find that in their couch cushions.

The Mad Russian probably spends $85 million per year docking his yacht.

*turns on Liverpoool v. Arsenal*

*eagerly awaits 606*

While I don't mind seeing them get put to the sword they way my team has been, this really sucks for Spurs' chances at getting 4th place. I'll take consolation in the fact that Liverpool has performed like this before at times this season, yet they have still dropped points at times to keep the teams chasing them in it.

I don't care about the score. I'm upset by two things:

1. The astounding lack of intensity. It's February, they're top by two points, and they decide to show up and walk their baby dicks around the pitch. Those Fabregas era teams that people said never showed up in big games never looked as pathetic as Arsenal did in the first half.

2. The lack of pragmatism. Everyone knows Arsenal can't defend set pieces or breakaways. Liverpool lead the league in set piece goals and breakaway goals. Chelsea gave the blueprint on how to get a result in this game on Monday and Arsenal decided to turn up like they were playing Derby County. This team is not talented enough to beat good teams 6-5.
