Fernando Torres... broken nose, wore a protective mask today. Chelsea had him in the inner end of their four man wall. They must not like him. That free kick went right toward his face and just above his timid effort to stop it for Southampton's match-winning goal.

It might have gone over him regardless, but why on Earth would you put a guy with a broken nose on that end of the wall? The ball was always going to be coming his way and he had a pretty good excuse to not want to get in its path.
