Premier League (Official Thread)

He'll be gone in the summer regardless, but if it's Peter Odemwingie's goal to be a nuisance for West Brom every moment after the January transfer window, he's doing a good job.

But he'll be gone. He's really going at his club Sunday.

Odemwingie tweeted: "Keeping me on the bench now is worst than what they did on the 31st. New advisers told me to take say its all my fault cos its better or me.

Rebecca Lowe's a good hire for NBC Sports Network (NBC) for its studio host of the Barclays Premier League, starting next year.

She's better than Curt Menefee, Rob Stone or Eric Wynalda.

Since ESPNUK is now defunct, there are a lot of free agents sitting there for NBC.

Fernando Torres... broken nose, wore a protective mask today. Chelsea had him in the inner end of their four man wall. They must not like him. That free kick went right toward his face and just above his timid effort to stop it for Southampton's match-winning goal.

It might have gone over him regardless, but why on Earth would you put a guy with a broken nose on that end of the wall? The ball was always going to be coming his way and he had a pretty good excuse to not want to get in its path.
