If Tibs is posting again under another name, how can he if you blocked his work IP?
I do know he posts from his sisters computer on occasion.
If he is posting let him have his old username back so I can start dinging him again!

I just read through ten pages of shit, and realized several things. First, Thump is still retarded. While accusing everyone else of having the "mob mentality", he fails to realize that his own opinion is usually quite different from everyone else's. Nobody dings him for it (that I'm aware of), but just because he doesn't agree with others doesn't mean they are a mob. I've disagreed with AKAK, LoKy, BKB, Mili, Rugby, and pretty much anyone else I can think of, but my guess is Thump would say that I and those I listed were the "mob". Thump, just because we don't agree with you, or you don't agree with us, doesn't mean we agree with each other, either. There are usually more than two sides to a discussion.
Nothing needs to change. BP is a unique site that is praised because there are few rules, and is self-policed. The mods, especially 21 and 3yards, do an excellent job. I, for one, have never looked at a posters post count before reading what they wrote. If what they wrote is retarded, I will then look to see if they are stupid or just ignorant. I very rarely, if ever, ding noobs, but the fact is, they are coming in at the bottom of the totem pole, which means that they need to be a little more careful. Steve19 came in and made an immediate impact, because he was thoughtful and intelligent, and was immediately notice. BKB and Mr. I did the exact opposite, and now are among the board leaders in rep. This board IS elite, and therefore, we only want intelligence and thoughtfulness out of the posters. If we want to read drivel and ignorance, we can go to other boards. I would be much happier with BP if no new members ever joined than if all the new members were morons.
As for the sigs and avatar discussion...please. Use common sense. We cuss here. We have the RR. If it doesn't belong in the RR, then it is ok for the rest of the boards. If you don't like it, or don't want to risk it at work, then TURN THEM OFF. That's another great thing about BP - it's user friendly, and you can customize YOUR BP to be whatever you want it to be. You like the Nightime skin? Use it. Like a particular quote? Use it as your sig. Don't want to see half-nekkid wimenz? Turn off the sigs. Same for the language, although this is a little touchier because the language filter has not yet made the transition to the new server. Once it does, this should no longer be a problem. Until then, it probably wouldn't hurt people to be a little sensitive, but majority rules, and it seems more people would like to drop the F bomb than not.
As to why the site is slow, there are a plethora of reasons, most of which have already been listed. It's frickin' Indiana, for cryin' out loud. Many people are taking this opportunity to do anything that needs doing, because they look at this as almost a bye week.
One last thing, so that this post can be really long. Donnyjr is a fuckin' goatheel, and I don't care if I ever see him again. Those of you that think he is harmless can have your opinion. That's what BP is all about, having your opinion. But like TedGinn05 (or whatever), if you get ridiculed and dinged, you deserve it. If you bitch about it, over and over and over and over, you will get dinged over and over and over and over. Donnyjr was a masquerade, an act, and it was annoying to many of us, especially me. He sucks, and I hate him. Too strong? Maybe, but he annoyed the piss out of me, and I told him so. As a mod, I refuse to ignore anybody, because of my "job". I typically ignored him anyways, but he was intentionally trying to stir the pot, and his feigned ignorance and stupidity were the most annoying things in the world to me.
Tibs sucks, and I'm glad he's gone. He contributed nothing to this site, not even in his pseudo-role of "potstirrer". Maybe once upon a time, but not for quite a while now. Insulting someone's spouse is grounds for having your ass kicked, regardless of whether the member was dumb enough (no offense, Iambrutus ) to post the picture initially.
