Colorado football team suspends 3

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) -- The University of Colorado football team has suspended three players after allegations of brawling, said sports information director Dave Plati.

Sophomore linebacker Michael Sipili, 19, was suspended indefinitely from the team after an arrest Wednesday on charges of second-degree assault and criminal mischief, Plati said Friday. The arrest came after a fight in June. Sipili was out of jail on bond.

Sophomore defensive tackle Chris Perri, 20, will miss the first three games of the season. He allegedly had a role in the same fight. He also was arrested in July after police said he fought with teammate Taj Kaynor.

Kaynor, a 21-year-old defensive tackle, was suspended for one game.

From the article above:

Two University of Michigan football players are facing trial next month, one of them for allegedly exposing himself to a female acquaintance inside Michigan Stadium.

Wide receiver LaTerryal Savoy was arraigned Wednesday on one count of indecent exposure, a misdemeanor that carries a maximum penalty of one year in jail and/or a $1,000 fine. His pretrial hearing was held today in Ann Arbor's 15th District Court, where a trial date was set for Sept. 21.

Another player, linebacker Obi Ezeh, is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a misdemeanor with a maximum penalty 93 days in jail and/or a $500 fine and/or 360 hours of community service.

I think Savoy's action is just a misunderstanding. He didn't realize the female was there, and he was just taking a leak - after all, he was inside a gigantic toilet.

Anagrams for LaTerryal Savoy:

Rosy Avatar Yell

Alertly Savor Ya
Real Salty Ovary
Rarely Oval Stay

Royal At Slavery
Avert Royal Lays
A Really Rosy Vat

I guess one perk of robbing drug houses is that there will rarely be anyone willing to testify against you:

UCLA reinstates assistant coach arrested for burglary

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- UCLA reinstated assistant football coach Eric Scott, who'd been on administrative leave after an arrest on suspicion of residential burglary last month. Scott, who was not charged in the burglary, met with head coach Karl Dorrell and UCLA administrators Friday. Dorrell told the team after Saturday's practice that Scott would be returning.
...
Prosecutors had announced Thursday they would not charge the 32-year-old wide receivers coach and his cousin, Timothy Williams, in connection with the crime because witnesses and victims were either unavailable or uncooperative.

Looks like the scUM fans are waking up to another "incident" in their storied history. Looks like Carr is getting good at sweeping the infractions under the rug. This kid really took a beating, but Lllloyd is turning his head again and is ignoring it.
