Think we need to root for TCU to lose in a not so close game.

Get the feeling USC is going to beat Utah fairly easily this time around. The loss to Utah was @ Utah, by 1 point on a 2 point conversion with under a minute left and it was a pretty fortunate W for the Utes.

Tcu needs to lose by 14+ for us to have a shot. And I think that’s a 1-4 pt game either way.

So we are all in on an Utah, who I also think will lose a close game.

TCU won't get much leniency, even if they lose by 3 at the buzzer they are still liable to get left out for us. We've seen this show before though in 2014. When they got the chance to leave a TCU type team out, they did. The more they lose by the better though.

I don't follow how them losing means they're in...

So they lose to #13 and only drop 1 spot? While we lost to #2 and drop 3? We will have the better wins, we will have won our games more convincingly than TCU and we were rated higher than TCU all year until we lost last week.

I ultimately don't think it'll matter because I think they'll lose by 2 touchdowns to KSU.

Someone's got to be #4 and why should they be able to back door into the playoffs by losing to a worse team?

Yea some people are putting way too much stock into TCU, it might not be "fair" by any means but they are taking Ohio State over TCU the second they get the chance to

Fully agreed.

Just no idea what TCU has done to lose their last game of the year to a 3 loss team yet only drop 1 spot (should they actually lose).

Nothing. The Big 12 is a mess of average all around. Theres no particularly awful teams, yes, but no one is particularly that great outside of TCU either. There's nothing there that says WOW!!! to give them the pass if they lose their title game.
