While everyone seems to be leaving State Penn, something is still left behind. Can you guess what it is?
A pile of poop-stained underwear? 100 cases of Ensure?

But you can't put a price on one more year with the sun and hot girls. USC definately has that going for them.
An NFL paycheck will get you even more hot girls...

Agreed. I heard at least one commentator say that Bradford could have been the first pick in the 2009 draft had he come out.

I'd say it's good news for Sanchez - if he's going to go in the first round this year, why come back and join the 2010 draft that has McCoy and Bradford in it?

Which may be good news for the Buckeyes on Sept. 12th.

Matt Leinart made that mistake, he probably would have been the #1 pick in 2005; however, he stayed in school (USC) and was the #10 pick in 2006. Based on what he 2008 guys got, my guess is that the extra year in school (taking one dance class) only cost Leinart about $30M over his first 5 years, etc.

#1 Jake Long -5 years, $57.5 million ($30M guaranteed)
#10 Jarod Mayo - 5 years, $18.9 million ($13.8M guaranteed)

Signing status of 2008 NFL Draft first-round picks

You aren't taking into account what he made while still at USC that year.

If Bush is any indicator, Lienart didn't really miss out on that much.

I think Bradford is making a huge mistake. His stock cannot get any higher. Scouts will now spend the next year nitpicking everything about him as a quarterback. And when they take a long, hard look, they'll see that he's little more than a glorified Texas Tech QB.

But good for the Lions though. At least they won't waste their pick on him.

USC's Mark Sanchez plans to announce Thursday that he will forgo his senior season to enter the NFL draft, sources close to Sanchez and USC told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

The announcement will occur at USC's Heritage Hall, and Pete Carroll is returning from a trip to Hawaii to be at Sanchez's side for the announcement. Sources say that Sanchez has been discouraged from turning pro by family members and that Carroll asked his quarterback to wait until Thursday's NFL deadline for underclassmen to allow for a change of heart. If Sanchez submits his paperwork to the NFL on Thursday, as expected, he would have four days to change his mind, as long as he does not enter into an agreement with an agent.

Great to see Spikes back. We have 11 of 11 starters back on D.

Harvin was supposed to meet with Meyer at 1:00 eastern and decide. He is rumored to have met with Spikes, and will announce later this afternoon.

I hope Percy goes and gets a pay day. He has earned it, and has played through pain and injury his entire career. He skipped Christmas with his family to reahab for the BCSCG. He owes us NOTHING.

Good luck in whatever you do and however you decide Percy.
