Pens Fan Here! After a rough start pens are picking it up now. Can't wait too see this team when they are fully healthy. My main worry right now though, will Fleury get his head on straight. Cause I don't think Johnson is going to carry our team all season.

Fleury fucking sucks.

Craig Adams has three points in the first period, including a shorthanded goal and shorthanded assist less than a minute after his shorty. Cooke scored the other SH goal. Adams took a penalty soon after, and took a pass from Crosby as soon as he stepped out of the box. He made a great pass to Dupuis, who actually finished and scored.

Both of Fleury's goals are awful. He's the worst starting goalie in the league right now, outside of maybe Tampa Bay's goalie (Smith).

Pens were out-played in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Lightning put lots of pressure on the D and the point men on the PP. Which caused ALOT of turnovers. Fleury was his usual self...giving up soft goals.

Pens need to get Staal back. I think Letestu is more suited for a 3rd line Center position.

And yet, Smith is 4-0 with that stellar 3.59 GAA and .870 Save percentage. Go figure. :lol:

He is, but I think (and hope) he'll get a chance on Sid's wing. Dupuis is playing the worst hockey of his life this year. He's useless on the top line. Letestu seems to be in good position and has decent enough hands. I've heard he's being taught how to play wing. We'll see.

I really can't wait to get Staal back. I've heard rumors that he and Michalek could be back tomorrow. Talk about massive defensive upgrades. Fleury might actually look like a #1 with those two in front of him.

Also, ever since the Pens won the cup, Malkin = not a top five forward in the NHL. :(

Worst game I've watched from the Pens in a long time.

Michalek looked pretty bad his first game back. Malkin was invisible again. Defense in general was just awful. Johnson let in one soft goal. He looked bad on the penalty shot too. Aside from that, he actually made some really nice saves and played decently. The rest of the team was just that bad.

Crosby, Letang, Kunitz and Kennedy all fought. Why the fuck is Godard on this team?
