It's not like Vokoun hasn't been good all season either. He had 13 wins in 20 games played, with three shutouts. He's been in the league for a long time, so it's not like he's inexperienced too. They're probably better off riding him for the near future, much like when Detroit benched Hasek, who was the #1 all season in the opening round in '08 & rode Osgood to the Cup.

Islanders look awesome
Penguins look awful

Penguins are lucky to be in this game. They'll be lucky to win the series. They look fucking terrible. They are starting to show some signs of life, but I think it's too late.

I surmised as much from the cnnsi game cast I was following... Hopefully they can sneak through this series and get their act together for round 2

I've never met an Islanders fan I wanted to be friends with. I'm good friends with a couple Flyers fans and I can't stand talking hockey to them. Fuck the Islanders and everything associated with them. They threw stuff on the ice multiple times this series, cheered an injury, etc.

I do like Tavares though. He's so much fun to watch.

Yeah, I'm glad to finally beat the fucking Islanders in a playoff series but the Pens are going to have to play a lot better to beat the Sens. It's one thing to add talent late in the season, but it's another to have it all come together as a unit quickly.
