I hope the Pens sweep the series with four shutouts and score 140 goals. I hope Crosby cuts off Hartnell's hair with a skate. I hope Dan Byslma comes to each game dressed like Stone Cold.

I also hope someone beats the shit out of John Tortorella. What a piece of shit he is. I might hate him as much as I hate the Flyers.

It's going to be nice to be able to sit back and enjoy some playoff hockey. I remember the early 90s going to the Sportsgarden in Pittsburgh and watching Pens games. Phil Bourqe, Tom Barasso, Ulf Samuelsson, Mario, Jaromir Jagr, Ronnie Francis, Larry Murphy. Those were some teams! I got away from it when I moved to C bus and then got REALLY into the Blue Jackets when they arrived.

Watching the Blue Jackets isn't like watching real hockey, but it's fun to watch the other teams play. Now is the time when things get ramped up. It's so different from the regular season that I can't think of another sport to compare it to.

Nothing like playoff hockey.

Pens have scored a lot of goals in the first two games against NYR and Philly. None of them by Crosby or Malkin. That is actually a good sign.

James Neal appears to be as awesome as he was last season. Both goalies have looked sharp as well.

Lots of shitty hockey being played by this team. Defense looks improved from last year, but they suck on offense. Crosby, Malkin, Neal and a bunch of third liners at best. Trade is desperately needed for a winger. One of the millions of good D prospects the Pens have needs to go.

Malkin down. I repeat, we got a Malkin down. Looked rough, especially with the whiplash in his neck as he hit the boards. Would be a significant blow if he were to miss a decent amount of time. We shall see.
