Give it time.

Granted, Pitt's a horrible team, but Purdue this year isn't much better. And I don't even need to get into OSU in '02. God knows there was no shortage of people claiming OSU fell backasswards into that NC game, and look what happened. If ND does get to the game, I'll be cheering for them to get their doors blown off (and I'm sure it'll happen). But I think it's a bit hypocritical for BPers to claim ND shouldn't get a shot based on an admittedly bad game against a horrible opponent.
Please. I have heard excuses for teams not playing well at home but this is really a stretch IMOulukinatme;2249747; said:The other issue is gameday focus on campus. Theres a lot of hoopla and pregame rituals that the team does at home on gameday and on Fridays that they don't do at away games. For one theres the Pep Rally, which they've already said they're going to move back a few hours to get the team to the hotel earlier. On game weekends the players would give tours of the athletic complex too, I guess thats getting cut out. There were some other specifics too, but just a lack of focus and not enough time to relax on gameday at home.

The second bit of luck occurred when officials didn?t notice the Irish had a pair of No. 2s on the field at the same time.

What's the penalty for playing two guys with the same number? Guy here at work was saying 5 yards plus automatic first down. At the very least, Pitt should have had another shot at the field goal.
I hate them worse than you do. Words do not exist in the English language that are strong enough to describe the level of hatred that I have for them. I bet that compared to me, you like them.Buckeneye;2251711; said:Notre Dame?
[censored] those [censored]in' [censored]s. :tongue2:
Seriously I do hate them though.
