I must have screwed up too, because my picks aren't showing up either. I checked several times and each time the radio buttons showed my picks correctly. I also listed my picks in Gbears thread, so hopefully they can be entered into the system somehow.

Well, I got 8 out of 10 right in the college spread picks (only was wrong on our game and the Alabama/Mississippi game)...oops, guess I got 9 out of 10. Hey, I won the straight up picks, too! Woo hoo! Hey C-Dog, do I get a medal? :biggrin:

I think that Clarity said that they still don't know why some picked up and other's didn't earlier today

It remains to be seen whether the picks that aren't showing up are in the database or not. It may very well be that your picks are in there, and there's just a small bug in the score reporting code.

Share some of the wealth man...I'm sittin over here looking like Texas...frequent top 10, just can't break to the top! I think my own Browns killed me on the NFL straight up...I picked that with high confidence that way I could be happy if we won...somewhat consoled if we lost.

Let's go double duty again this week. A thread (for college/spread) and the automation.

I'm certain the problem is a minor one, and will be able to be corrected quickly, but it may be a little bit of time before the coder can look into it.

college odds are not up yet (I might need to find another site to use... these guys seem to be slow to post odds), when they are up, I'll post the games.

Also, got a PM from SlobberKnocker and his picks didn't register in the auto system either... seems some bug is eating our picks???

Happily, I don't think they're being eaten, I think they're just not displaying in the results pages. So hopefully it's a quick and easy fix.

Just did a quick check.

There are exactly 29 results listed in the NCAA "Straight" picks AND 29 results listed in the NCAA "Spread" picks ... all names correspond. Meaning the results are only listed for the members who picked in both the spread AND the straight.

There are exactly 17 results listed in the NFL "Straight" picks AND 17 results listed in the NFL "Spread" picks ... all names correspond. Meaning the results are only listed for the members who picked in both the spread AND the straight.

My guess is that the members who are saying their picks were NOT listed, did NOT pick both the "straight" AND the "spread" options (I only picked the NCAA spread games ... my picks were not listed). I would also guess that the results are being computated only when BOTH straight AND spread picks are entered for either the NFL OR NCAA games. Sound logical?

The automated module has been populated with the games, college and pro for both straight and spread. MAKE YOUR PICKS FOR COLLEGE/SPREAD BOTH IN GBEAR'S WEEK 4 THREAD AND IN THE AUTOMATION.

The current line of thinking is that people who only picked spread are the ones who aren't showing up in the results. I haven't been able to drop this in the coder's lap yet, but when I can and do, I'm sure we'll have a quick fix.

In the meantime, do make your picks both places, as I believe your picks are being entered in the database, even if the results are not yet showing.

Do not email or PM me to tell me your picks aren't showing up. Do not tell someone else to email or PM me to let me know their picks aren't showing up. As evidenced by a number of posts in the threads related to this subject, I am well aware of the problem, and will address it when and as possible.
