PGA Tour (Official Thread)

Inevitably, the magic carpet crashed to earth as Mike Block's opening round 81 has him dead last at the Colonial.

Still has that PGA invitation, though.

OK, Viktor Hovland won $3.6M at Jack's tournament yesterday. He's still in Columbus; what do you think he is dong today?

Viktor Hovland caddies for former college teammate at U.S. Open Final Qualifying less than 15 hours after 2023 Memorial Tournament win

What would you do the next day if you won the biggest tournament of your career and a whopping $3.6 million paycheck?

For Viktor Hovland, who won the PGA Tour’s 2023 Memorial Tournament in a playoff at Muirfield Village Golf Club on Sunday, it was rise and shine early and get to work. No, he didn’t go tee it up; rather he is caddying for former Oklahoma State University teammate and roommate Zach Bauchou of Forest, Virginia, at a U.S. Open Final Qualifier in Columbus, Ohio.

As Dionne Warwick used to sing, that’s what friends are for....8D

Respect for Hovland just increased by 10 fold for me. That is how it's done right there

I have tried to see how the "merger" plays out and have my own opinions, but in the meantime have been watching. Awesome leaderboard at the US Open so far, I love Fowler so I am hoping he can hang on and actually close on a major...needs to happen.

Dammit Rickie, stop getting my hopes up. This time I really thought he just looked locked in heading into Sunday, but same old story on repeat. I get it is super hard to win a major with the field that is out there now, but I wanted that win for him so bad to check that box.
