I think pretty nice development is putting it mildly Meechie will bring much-needed depth to the PG position with the ability to score much more than Walker. Plus, he gets one year of free playing time without it costing him a year of eligibility. Before his ACL tear, he was putting up big numbers as a high school player.

Holtmann stated a couple times that there was a whole string of physical tests and so on that he had to go through before he could join practices.

Meechie didn't look ready out there, which should come as no surprise to anyone.
