Their season was on the line, and that hasn't been a happy place for Southwestern Academy this year.
When it mattered most, though - when a slim lead over Powers Catholic had to be protected, when 1,700 fans waited breathlessly on each shot, when failure wasn't an option - the Knights knocked down the free throws that kept their basketball season alive Saturday.

Anthony Crater drained the final two with 1.9 seconds showing as SWA outlasted Powers 70-67 in a pressure-cooked Class B district championship game at Goodrich.
