Ninja, these seem to be hung up on height quite a bit. I really don't see much difference between a kid being 6'7" and 6'8" or even 6'9". Heighth really doesn't matter that much as Leslie at the taller heights. A great deal of height can be made up with a player's body build or leaping ability. Is that kid can jump out of a gym does it really make any difference if he is 6'4" or 6'5" or whatever. Just seeing a whole lot about height and I just don't think that a few inches means very much. It's all about how you can play the gameNINJA BUCK13;1962785; said:The roster released last week had T-Mac listed at 6'8"............No recruiting service that i saw ever had him listed lower than 6'9"............He's probably a year away from contributing anyways but has anyone on campus seen Trey yet? If so, is he a big dude? He looks like it in his highlight reels.:osu:

Less than a year ago, Trey McDonald was concerned with high school dances. Now he?s heading to the Big Dance.
In just his freshman year at Ohio State, the Battle Creek Central graduate is heading to the Final Four as a member of the Buckeyes.
McDonald hasn?t played much his first year at Ohio State, but he will be dressed and ready to step in when necessary as the Buckeyes fight for a national championship in college basketball, playing in the Final Four this weekend in New Orleans.
Ohio State will face Kansas in the second game of the night Saturday at 8:49 p.m. If McDonald and the Buckeyes win they will play the winner of the first national semifinal game between Louisville and Kentucky in the NCAA title game on Monday.
To have a Battle Creek area player compete in the Final Four is rare.
?I don?t think anybody from Battle Creek has done it,? said Battle Creek Central basketball coach Greg Williams. ?I know some guys from here have been close, but I don?t think anybody has made it this far.?
In the last 20 years, Battle Creek Central graduates Ben Reed (Western Michigan University), David Hart (Michigan State University) and Kenyon Murray (Iowa) have played in the NCAA Tournament, but did not advance to the Final Four.
From the area, Steve Cherry (Coldwater) was a walk-on and was on the roster for the Michigan State team that was in the Final Four in 1999.
McDonald, a 6-foot-8 freshman center, has played in 13 games this season for Ohio State ? mostly in the final minutes of games as the Buckeyes are loaded in the front line.
Williams, who coached McDonald at BCC, is headed down to see his former player in New Orleans.
?From talking to him, I know he is enjoying all of this,? Williams said.
?One of the reasons he chose to go to Ohio State was to put himself in a position to be able to do this. To be going to a Final Four in your first year in college, that?s not too bad.?

He is pretty athletic and has a nice touch around the basket. I know that Matta probably doesn't want to test him against the big boys but I thought he could play against the guys from Nebraska pretty well. It would have been interesting to see.
He ran track in high school so that has probably helped him on the basketball court. Still can't understand why he does not get a little play time. The thing that's most impressed me about Trey is the way he moves his feet on defense - he moves sideways very effectively for a big man.
