PF/C Kosta Koufos (CSKA Moscow)

How about this-

Koufos, Oden, Madsen in the back with Conley and Butler up front.

Then when they try to go bigger to help out, fat friggin chance, come back with:

Cook, Hunter, Lighty in the back with Conley and Butler up front to run them out of the gym. We've seen this lineup before and it can do some damage. Also, remember that with either of these two lineups Diebler can come in to take Ron Lewis' place from this year and shoot them out of the gym.

Salivating like a rabid dog....

yeah, I understand that but lets just say it an in-game situation and maybe Hunter has an injury or foul trouble. A back line of 6'10", 7', 7'2" is pretty damn impressive.

Its almost sick to think of the potential of a team with all of those stars on it. I can't think of a recent or past NCAA team that rivals that.

Koufos scores 9 at McDonald's All-American Game
Wednesday, March 28, 2007
From staff, wire reports

LOUISVILLE, Ky. O.J. Mayo?s 3-point attempt hit the back of the rim in the final seconds Wednesday night, allowing the West to escape with a 114-112 win over the East in the McDonald?s All-American Game at Freedom Hall.

It was a familiar result for Mayo, who missed six of his first seven shots and never found his rhythm. The former Ohio Mr. Basketball finished with 12 points.

GlenOak High School 7-foot-2 senior Kosta Koufos had 9 points and two rebounds for the East, including 7 points during the first 3:51 as the East took a 16-11 lead. The Ohio State-bound Koufos had all of his points at halftime and played sparingly in the second half.

Michael Beasley scored 23 points for the West and was named the Most Valuable Player. He will play at Kansas State next year.

Grading the level of play at the McD's AA game
Kosta Koufos, GlenOak (Canton, Ohio)
Koufos didn't play much -- only 11 minutes -- but in his time he showed the versatility that has made him a top player. He drilled his only 3-point attempt and finished with nine points. GRADE: B-

I would like a little explanatinon of that...How can you give someone a B- when they get 11 pts. score 9 pts...Maybe the coach deserves a D- for not playing a guy like that...

SI or ESPN both suck.
ya, that really still has me pissed off. A bunch of idiots had to stay away from me when they said he was OVER RATED.

I hope he averages 9 points every 11 minutes he plays next year at:osu:

33 mins 27 ppg

OSU recruit Koufos agonizes during loss

CantonRep
Have you ever seen a 7-foot-2 man-child fall out of a recliner and land, slumped up against an ottoman? You're thinking the same thing, aren't you? That ottoman must've been made in Amish country.

Kosta Koufos would have been the tallest player on the court Monday night at the Georgia Dome during the national championship game. He is a much better player than he is a spectator.

Just thought this was interesting as he hasnt been on this list b4, but KK is now in the mock 08' draft as the #10 pick...

I know that Kosta has tremendous basketball skills for a plus 7' basketball player foot for him to be projected as a #10 pick in the 2008 NBA draft is a little bit of a stretch at this point. I want to see what he can do at the college level and how much physically stronger he becomes. Physically I do not think he is very mature at this time.
