People to Punch, Pet Peeves, and General Vexations (mega-merge)

New pet peeve: people who live in the central time zone. All of them. All of you.
Tomorrow's game doesn't begin at 2:30. It begins at 2:30 Central Time. I don't fucking care who the home team is.
Tomorrow's game starts at 3:30. Or, if you want to specify, it starts at 3:30 Eastern Time, or 3:30 American Time.
And since I am declaring Eastern Time to be American Time, Central Time is now Commie Time. All you central time zone commies are really living in commie time.
Go play with some skunks, you commies.
How often do fellow OH residents encounter people who think the state is in the Central time zone? I get it maybe once every few months.

Is it too late to add news articles that are either written by AI or edited by them? The local news websites in NE OH are getting so bad with them. I was reading an article earlier today about the Guardians and Clase's suspension. In most of the article it had him identified as Class A.

People bitching about language evolving sound stupid. Like in my day we used a series of grunts and clicks. These newfangled words frighten me. Why can't we go back to clicks and grunts?!

Old people bitching about younger generations any way. Your generation was lazy and entitled too. You're not better than "kids these days" so shut the fuck up you colossal pricks.

Mostly agree but my older generation were all depression era kids. They had a lot of faults but lazy and entitled were not two of them.

Even as a teen I knew they really did have it way tougher and I wanted nothing what ever to do with the world they grew up in.

But yeah, mostly bitching about younger gen is dumb. I actually quite like the Z's. I was there when Millennials hit the work force...you can keep that lot (as a group, individual results may vary)

I'm getting know Gen Z as they enter the workforce. They're different and they live in a different reality than I did when I was their age so I won't judge them because I can't relate to their world.

As far as languages evolving go, they should improve and not be dumbed down. Modern English is spoken nowadays to the lowest common denominator.

Yeah and the depression era kids' parents couldn't believe the enormous pussies they raised. Whatever faults the next generation has are squarely on their fuckin parents.

My brother and I both worked our asses off to make someone else rich and now our bodies are broken and we're still poor. We definitely let the next gen know to not let bosses push them into a back brace or knee surgery.

Then my brother has the nerve to tell me all about how kids these days dont wanna work. Make it make sense

Yeah, sometimes. But my company's bosses are in the central time zone. So they just schedule meetings for 12:00. Hey fuckers - schedule it for 12:00 central time. Or 1:00 eastern time. It's unAmerican to just refer to the central time and think that's the time everyone uses. Use American time or at least tell me what time zone you are using.

Have you ever heard "kids" (they're actually adults, now) say, "LOL"?
Do you remember when "text" was a noun, and not a verb?
How about when "cringe" was a verb, and not an adjective?
Do you remember when humor didn't involve putting a jar of mayonnaise on an escalator?
