Are you insinuating that San Antonio is part of Mexico?I catch hell when I try and explain San Antonio Holmes was not from Texas.
How many times did you hear the rumor that so-and-so's dental hygienist has a client who's a realtor in Upper Arlington, and the realtor is showing houses to Meyer's wife? I swear I heard that from 4-5 different people, and it's highly unlikely that those people talked to each other. Either Shelly had a lot of realtors, or that realtor had a lot of dentists.Pfft, 98% think they saw him shopping at Krogers.

Speaking of realtors, and this thread, how great is it when people pronounce "realtor" with an extra syllable? "Realitor"
How about adding a syllable to "jewelry"? "Jewelery"
I've never noticed anyone saying "athalete".It's even worse when it's a realtor calling themselves a real-a-tor. If you can't even pronounce your own profession, I'm going to be pretty skeptical of your abilities.
Also, it's athlete, not athalete. Way to many sports announcers say athalete.
adding "s" to the end of store names annoys the shit out of me. My MIL always says she needs to go to Walmarts to get something, she found out it annoys me, so she does it more oftenPfft, 98% think they saw him shopping at Krogers.
I blame Sears.adding "s" to the end of store names annoys the shit out of me. My MIL always says she needs to go to Walmarts to get something, she found out it annoys me, so she does it more often
That seems to be an old person thing, especially for women. My suspicion is that back in the day most grocery stores and department stores had possessive names.adding "s" to the end of store names annoys the shit out of me. Did she make a good sofrito?I have to admit that I have a bit of soft spot for this one. Prior to and excluding my wife, my best girlfriend was a Puerto Rican girl from the Bronx. She said this, but it was her only notable speech quirk.
Yeah - don't tell me that something bothers you, or I'll do it more often. I won't even use it in a way that makes sense.she found out it annoys me, so she does it more often
