People to Punch, Pet Peeves, and General Vexations (mega-merge)

Fat people complaining about the elevator being down -- in a three-story building!

Same issue, but with people who are on the 2nd floor only to go down one floor.....when the stairs are right next to them. Not only is it probably quicker, but you may actually burn a calorie. I'm coming down from the 7th floor and have to wait 15 seconds for them to wobble like a penguin in and without even a thank you for holding the door for them, because news flash, the elevator is not timed to wait so long expecting a 300 pound penguins entry.

People that buy something on eBay and then drop all contact after the item has been sent. Look guy, I thank you for the prompt PayPal, but could you answer my email or leave me some positive feedback or something? I'd really like to spend all that money you gave me but I'm afraid you might come back two weeks from now and claim something was eff'ed up with the transaction and file a dispute or demand a refund or some shit, then I'll have blown that momma-don't-know money on something superfluous and have to cover a refund from my checking account.

In other words, you are a quart low on hookers and blow, and the man is keeping you down?

In all seriousness, I agree with this entirely. Buying on e-bay is a snap, selling is a nightmare, it used to be the other way around, but now they've gone way too far the other way. I collect sports stuff including some cards, and the biggest trend people try and pull is getting the card, then demanding a "partial refund" because the card wasn't as "gradable as they thought when they bought it". Basically just assholes trying to extort part of their money back and keep the card because they felt they bid too much. :pissed:

I have a habit of accumulating collectible stuff because it scratches my OCD itch: antique bottles, sports memorabilia, trading card games, coins and bullion, and vintage toys and video game consoles. My definition of near-mint & mint is pretty damned strict, but probably more to my own detriment in fairly representing my own stuff and ultimately discouraging bidders of my stuff from overpaying.

Yeah mine is too, which is why I know that when people pull this shit it is a straight con. I don't do the ZOMG PSA 10? type listings...I am very clear and present clear pictures. After that, it is on them.

People that roll through the gym parking lot for 15 min hunting for a front parking space. Then the same people use the elevator to go the track.
That's hilarious. I prefer to park far away, don't want my vehicles to get scratched or dinged up.

I used to work out early in the morning, there was an old timer who would do treadmill the whole time, then suck down a cigarette as soon as he left.

Back in my younger years when I actually had the ambition to attempt to exercise, I used to jog every morning with a group of guys at a park in my neighborhood.
One of the guys in the group would jog our two laps around the one mile circuit with a big fat cigar in his mouth the entire time.
