It doesn't bother me, but I laugh when I see it, when people hover trying to get *that spot right there*. It's 3 spots away from the door and the driver of the car already there just got into his car - he's pulling out.
Meanwhile, I pull into the spot that's 20 spots farther away and walk the extra... what... 160 feet? Was it really worth keeping traffic stopped while you pull into that spot? Ha - I bet that guy also gets mad when pedestrians walk behind him in the parking lot and he can't pull out of his spot. Park 20 spots farther down and you can just pull through with no pedestrians.
But good for you for getting that nice parking spot, I guess.

Prefacing this post with looking for thoughts on what occurred with my neighbor today. E.g. who’s the asshole here.

My wife and I live on the main road and have an ingress-egress access on the drive that my neighbor behind us owns. It goes back about a 1/2 mile through the woods to their house. We’ve lived here for about 7 years and have always been friendly to our neighbors, helped keep the dive open, brought miss delivered packages back to their house, etc. Folks are in their 60s I would guess.

Occasionally we take Brutus and Wilson (my daughters Morkie that currently lives with us) down their drive and into the woods for a poop walk, especially in the winter. Sometimes Brutus wanders in the woods and plays with the deer and squirrels. We never go around their house.

So today, just back from walking my dog Brutus (50 lb husky/shepherd/mix rescue dog). I run into the neighbor lady at the mailbox. She says to me, we would appreciate if you don’t take your dogs for a walk down our driveway. I say I didn’t realize it was a problem. She says, we’ll it is posted as a private drive. I said it’s a fricking woods and turned around took Brutus and left.

I guess I could understand if we were destructive or if they had kids/grandkids or anyone that actually used the woods.

I just thought it was pretty un-neighborly…..

I’ve always found it best to set the tone with neighbors early
