Just filed an FCC complaint against Spectrum and CenturyLink. Had another call from Spectrum today telling me they wouldn’t be able to do the install due to the number not being ported. I said what install, there’s no install, we’re just waiting for the number to be ported. So, they canceled whatever install they had scheduled.
So a couple of hours later I get an email with an additional charge of $50 from Spectrum. When I call them in it, they say it’s for the install. Again, what install? And what is this December 30 date? So, again cancel the install and tell me that the 30th is now the date the number will be transferred by.
I’ve had it with the lies and the finger pointing by both companies about why they can’t get my mom’s landline number ported. All these providers can suck it.
