At that point, we had not had a single turnover nor did I remember coming close to a turnover. So why not try a drive the ball down? We had the time and we had the timeouts. I'm not taking about a 4+ yard play, but a few 7-12 yard passes would have been nice.
I know our offense wasn't producing, but mix those in with a few runs and we could have had a chance. But we lazily got to the line and it was obvious we weren't trying to go for it. That's why I thought people were booing.

I personally don't have an issue with it in the context of big time athletics. The players are showered with adoration when they perform well, it would unrealistic to think a flip side to that coin will never exist. These are all big boys, they've heard far worse.
Fans cheer when they are happy and boo when they are frustrated, not earth shattering stuff. As long as they aren't singling out a specific player at this level I really don't think its that big a deal.

The team leaves the field down 14-3 and boos are raining down?!? Give me a [censored]ing break. I don't care how anyone rationalizes the boos (booing the coaches, booing the lack of trying to move into scoring position, etc.), the fact remains that boos were rained down onto the field, the field where the OSU team was leaving for halftime. That absolutely disgusts me.
Finally, how many of the asshats who were booing yesterday....who were "supposedly" booing the coaches....are today praising JT and what he said at halftime and adjustments the staff made especially on defense? Like I said, at best fair weather fans, at worst ignorant about college football.
