After being ranked # 2 - Forums
Just how preciously did it all come crashing down in colossal fashion? Was it coaching, or the lack of? Was it players not making plays? Was it talent, or the lack there of? I know we lost Rojas, Allar and Franklin, got canned, but shouldn't this program should have been resilient enough and...
One guy says he was the best.
Another says he wasn't.
Then this post:
409 wins: congrats on the way you beat up on your neighbors.
Beat Saban head to head: I'm guessing he's referring to his time at Michigan State. Not impressed.
Won following the rules: I guess it isn't "cheating" to hand-pick the referees. Other than the next point, I'm not sure what "rules" he thinks others broke.
No money men paying players: All teams paid their players. No points for this one.
Was a real disciplinarian: Yeah, zero points. We used to laugh at the players who had run-ins with the law and how they got off with no punishments. To further prove my point, see how he handled Jerry Sandusky.
Emphasized academics over football: This drips with a fear at that school that the players better pass, or Paterno sends his goons to break some thumbs.

So running stairs and cleaning the stadium aren't punishment enough for assault or DUI? OK pal. If they were really felonious or their grades were shit they may be forced to leave their friends and teammates and transfer to a satellite campus.
