The team has proven they can win without him, and win big. Therefore, I can see the BOD deciding they've had enough and drop him like it's hot.

Meyer is mortally wounded at OSU. I think he knows it, they know it and are making the best of this season. In spite of everything.....he could still put together a great farewell season.

I recall reading that Hernandez might have been implicated in a murder while he was at Florida.
If that can be proven, then I guess it get’s down to a question of who knew what and when did they know it ?

If you read between the lines, it looks like the BOT at OSU was most likely not unanimous in it's decision to simply suspend Meyer. Probably some for the suspension, some for parting ways and some fence sitters.

Best case scenario is a right proper rogering. Second best is a close game with a couple of close calls going Ohio State's way. Preferably early in the game so they can work out their convoluted theories as to how that changed the entire flow of the game.
