Sure it was unoriginal.
I wouldn't buy or wear an "Urban Liar" t-shirt. It's tacky, it's tribal, and using phrases like that lowers the sophistication level of a conversation.
But I'll admit it --- I'm one of the folk ("michnittlion" as my user name) in that thread on BWI that is critical of Shelley. She's acting like a victim here - implying she and her family are a victim of the PSU fan base ("lowest thing I have seen from a fan base") while not acknowledging the reason those t-shirts exist in the first place.
Those t-shirts exist because, in the words from OSU's own internal report: "As a result (of his comments at B1G Media Days), Meyer has cast doubt on his own honesty in a way that reflects adversely on him, the football program and Ohio State."
It is what it is. She's not a victim. And though it may be hard to criticize a loved one, her husband, IMO, made mistakes.
