I just happened to be looking around youtube for something to watch, and I found the 2013 Penn State-Ohio State game.

About 25:30 into the video, it's 3rd and 16, Ohio State is up 7-0 with 7:12 to go in the first half. Miller runs out of the pocket and tries to run for the first down and is stopped about 4 yards short. During the play, Hall hits the defender on a come-back block - not a block in the back at all. The Penn State cult wanted that to be called for 15 yards. They don't care about the holding that wasn't called (surprisingly). They wanted the ejection for the hit to the head of a defenseless defensive player. Ohio State punts on 4th and 4.
And I'd forgotten about this one: go to about 28:00 into the video, Penn State left tackle jumps early. Loud stadium and Buckeyes don't hear the whistle. Defensive player hits the quarterback, and DOESN'T get called for unsportsmanlike conduct. Penn State punts and Ohio State goes on to win.

It'll be interesting to see how the cult views the meltdown at Sparty. Since they really do believe that all other big time university athletic departments are evil and dirty and corrupt, it'll be somewhat difficult to take the "sparty is being railroaded just like we were" tack. I'm sure, at the end of the day, the pedsters will somehow manage to reconcile believing that the absolute worst happened at Sparty and all the reporting is 100% true while still believing that it was all some big witch hunt in Rhythmic Slapping Valley.

Yep. After this, I couldn't bear to ruin a Sunday morning reading much further, but I'm sure this sentiment is dominant. Note: I particularly like the added North Korea style flourish that he feels necessary to add when mentioning Dear Leader.

Had Emmert put even HALF the zeal into msu he did with JVP ( forever my hero, and anyone who has a problem with that is welcome to say it to my face.. and God help you... you'll need it)... so many young girls would have been spared the depravity of Nassar.

But mister syracuse loverboy had other plans.... he and his band of punks went off half-cocked on penn state and, in particular, on an old man who never could have conceived of such depravity.

Oh but Emmert could.. and THAT is the difference. POS's like emmert and his ilk knew how it worked in the modern world.. Joe had no idea... what happened as slick MQ 'splained it... was a world Joe had no idea even existed.

Just as Joe never really understood that his super strong 260 pounders were not the be-all end-all... they were overmatched by 300 pounders who could do the same things and more athletically. He was man lost in time.. and this case was a classic example... he was out of his element. [Years later he finally came to understand and the tide turned... a tribute to Joe all the more that he could SEE it when most would be forever lost]

None of which stopped Emmert and his bretheren of Satan from piling on.

I wish Emmert a long long long life.. I wish him the enduring pain of his children KNOWING what their father did.. what a monster he is... and what calamity... and the ensuing hell he caused to reign.

Mark Emmert might as well be Satan's perfect vessel. Heck, he might be Satan himself.

So hey Marky... live your life knowinhg what a gutless syncophant you were. And die in shame. Your children knowing that for all your glowing prose and worn out phrases you were nothing but a gutless puke.

Legacy? A man like Joe Paterno has a legacy that will endure time. A twit like mark emmert has the knowledge he was a pip-squeak, a piece of vermin... to be mocked til the end of time.

Nice life you had there Marky.. enjoy your legacy.

Time is the only solution. Eventually, they all have to die off, don't they? Then, it just depends on how effectively they've indoctrinated their offspring.

I can't recall ever worshiping any public figures this avidly, unless it was Jack Kennedy and our original crew of astronauts. Of course, I was a kid, and even with those guys, I eventually learned they were (well, except maybe for Glenn) flawed human beings, and modified my assessment of them.

As I've said countless times, JoePed's reputation allowed them to believe that they were morally superior to other college football fans and alumni of other universities because of his saintliness. Their self-worth was literally wrapped up in the myths he created about himself and how he ran his football program. When the cult says, "WE ARE BECAUSE YOU WERE," take them seriously because they absolutely believe that shit.

And yes, they have to die off before psu can be a normal university.
