Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Thread Title: Is it a Witch Hunt vs Izzo and Dantonio?

First poster just shows some twitters about it.

Some replies:
IMO yes. No different than what was done to JVP.
"Is it a witch hunt vs Izzo and Dantonio?"

I should hope so. I would settle for nothing less.

"They're fighting for their own character."

Fortunately, they are young enough and healthy enough to fight. Sadly, Joe was unable to fight for himself. Of course, his university not only refused to fight for him, even worse, they put him in the crosshairs and fired the first shot. Unfortunately, few people outside the Penn State community know the facts and see the difference.
Has the media set-up camp right outside their homes yet?
This one is funny. That wasn't the media - those were students who didn't think they'd be able to "move on" with their lives if Dear Leader wasn't with them.
a little different. The GJP fueled the outrage, as well as Joe's referenced testimony. Joe was too old and sick to remember or defend himself.
Ha.
Here's my comment to the linked story:

I'm a Penn Stater. For all those commenting here, what was your position on Penn State in 2011-2012? I am sure hearing a lot of talk about due process that I did not hear in 2011-12. At least D'Antonio and Izzo are fairly young men still in their prime. Joe Paterno was 85 and dying when they did this to him. And before you respond keep in mind that no child was raped by Jerry Sandusky on the PSU campus. The indictment alleged that, but the jury found Sandusky "not guilty" on that charge. Also keep in mind that the victims at PSU were not PSU students.

I do not know what the answer for these coaches is. I do know that if you supported the dismissal of Joe Paterno, you are going to have to cut it pretty fine here.
So... if he had victimized PSU students, it would have made the crimes WORSE? Oh.. stupid me: of COURSE it would have been worse. PSU students are above non-PSU students in the cults' hierarchy.

1) Jerry sure seemed to have brought a lot of kids he was cultivating as victims to the campus, for them to not consider any crimes occurred there. Guess No Conviction=No Crime.

2) Not PSU students? Duh. Do they have quite a lot of eight-year-old boys attending PSU?

So Eddie George says he dreamed when he was growing up of playing for Penn State. No real shock there - I knew he was from Pennsylvania.
But I guess Paterno didn't give him a scholarship - they already had enough running backs.
It was not that PSU misjudged George's talent. Everybody knew Eddie George was going to be special. It's to Paterno's credit that they didn't lie to George, get him to sign a LOI and THEN tell him he had to play LB.
That was so nice of Paterno to pass on a Heisman winning running back! You aren't going to convince me that Paterno knew Eddie would be that good. The guy picked the wrong guys to accept. But - that's sacrilege! I just said that Joe did something wrong!!!

Same post:
It does say something pretty amazing about Paterno's program at the time that they outrecruited Ohio State for all those kids in 1991 and would have had George if they had a spot for him. Within a few years the tables were turned and John Cooper was getting just about anybody he wanted out of Ohio and Pa. I have often wondered whether there was something smelly about the Ohio State program at that time because their recruiting improved so dramatically, so suddenly.
So... Penn State out-recruits Ohio State, and it's because Penn State is awesome. Or, more precisely, JOE is so awesome. A few years later, and Ohio State is out-recruiting Penn State. It's probably because Ohio State is doing something "smelly".
IMO, Cooper is the one that turned O$U into the $EC north. Whenever a program quickly starts getting highly ranked kids from places they didn't before, there is usually some funny stuff going on. See Ole Miss.
No links to support that guy's fax or evidents!
Do these butt-breathers think that Ohio State would always be the same team that lost to Indiana in back-to-back years?

They talk about 1991, I assume they mean Ki-Jana Carter? I believe that he was originally going to pick Notre Dame, at least that is what everybody at Westerville South thought. I believe the reason he ended up going to PeeSU has less to do with personal choice and more to do with necessity.

Yeah - Ki-Jana Carter. And some other dude - Archie? - and some other dude and some other dude. No room left for Eddie. One of those four transferred, according to them. So I can see how someone would put Carter in front of Eddie - I wouldn't, but that's nit-picking, I think. They're GLAD that they didn't get Eddie, and got those 3 other guys? I wish we'd gotten those other guys, but we'll just have to live with the Heisman-winner.

FFS...

Which part of "Beat Nebraska" showed empathy toward the victims?
And which part of "victims or whatever you want to call them" showed empathy toward the victims? Dumb sonsofbitches.
When he knew FULL FUCKING WELL THAT SANDUSKY HAD BEEN ACCUSED IN THE PAST *RAGE MODE ACTIVATED*
It seems like a feature of our modern age is that we can’t just be content with casually lying about things by ignoring the truth; nope, we have to kick into over drive by saying things forcefully with conviction that are exactly the opposite of the truth.
