Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Joe showed genuine humility and empathy towards the victims. He certainly wasn't in defense mode as he didn't feel he had done anything wrong. Pretty normal, humane reaction in my opinion.
Of course he didn't, you inbred slack-jawed fucks. If it didn't deal directly with football itself and/or his grand fucking experiment, he felt absolutely nothing, because he was nothing but a zombified, pants-shitting yard gnome.

That had to be hard to type, even if it's just for the comedic results.

Former PSU linebacker Brandon Short is running for a spot on the Board of Trustees. Now, I know what you are thinking: What qualifications could Short possibly have to serve on the BoT?

https://bwi.forums.rivals.com/threads/brandon-short-penn-state-board-of-trustees-candidacy.199166/

BrandonShort43: "Having been recognized as a natural leader, I have developed a skill set that makes me uniquely qualified to represent our Alumni on Penn State’s Board of Trustees. I’m a graduate of the Smeal College of Business and hold a degree in Marketing (1999). I was a four-year starter on Penn State’s Football team and was elected team captain in both 1998 & 1999. I was selected as a consensus All-American in 1999 and earned First Team All-Big 10 honors in both 1998 & 1999."

Oh, and don't be concerned that Short will be some disloyal scumbag like Adam Taliaferro who does not properly kiss Joesus' rotting ass.

BrandonShort43: "I understand your frustration. I can see how people may think I will be similar to Adam because we are both letterman and wore the same number. However, nothing could be further from the truth. I was one of the first and most vocal Letterman when the scandal broke in condemning the way the Board responded and in support of Joe. While I may have moved out of the country I have stayed engaged in the fight. I was honored to be asked by Sue Paterno to MC the 50th anniversary letterman event commemorating Joe's first game that was held last year. I've never backed away from confrontation when it comes to standing up for what is right. And by no means am I naive about what we're up against. If I'm fortunate enough to be elected I plan on fighting for the future of our University just as I always have."

In the linked thread, the Cult reminds themselves that Michigan St. fans were mean to them in 2012. The Cult's line of thinking for a while now has been that a horrific sex scandal somewhere else makes PSU look better. Perhaps I have missed it, but I have not seen any Sparty fans rioting or showing up in the comments section of every single news article about the scandal to try and convince the world that it is all the media's fault or the Big 10's fault or the BoT's fault.

No, you haven't missed it. Sparty fans aren't doing such things.

Turns out when one doesn't wrap one's self in the self righteous nonsense of a football coach to form one's identity one doesn't become conflicted when bad news comes out that might involve the football team on some level.
