Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Uh, Einstein, law enforcement doesn't issue subpoenas, they enforce them. Judges issue subpoenas...

These are people who are demanding due process for a dead person. We're not exactly dealing with John Marshall or Learned Hand here.

BTW, they're now beginning to equate an internet prank with Sandusky. Well, you know the cult always has to be the victim.

We cannot go around expecting people to act like scum, or our lives would be horrible. Interesting parallel to how Sandusky got away with his terrible crimes because people couldn't imagine a monster standing right next to them.

My Life Saver momentReply I finally sat down and watched the DVR of Joe's memorial. Though its bad for my tough guy image, tears just streamed down my face. My joke with my son all these years(he is 8) was that he was going to go to college and play for Joe Paterno, the decision was made.

He came down stairs and asked why I was crying and I told him I doubted his generation will ever see someone like Coach Paterno and his passing was very sad. He told me, "Dad, don't cry. Joe Paterno can still coach me from heaven". I am not sure if the DVR or the little man made me cry more....

JFC! You know what made me cry: the thought that mongo has spread his polluted dna down the stream for at least one more generation.

Lol, oh man it happened. Someone compared ORD's trolling to Jerry Sandusky.

The guy was actually helpful in promoting the rally until it began, and wound up doing something dishonest and essentially trivial. We cannot go around expecting people to act like scum, or our lives would be horrible. Interesting parallel to how Sandusky got away with his terrible crimes because people couldn't imagine a monster standing right next to them.

I just... I love these guys. They're always good for a laugh.

This part is especially amusing...

Good point David. Definate strange behavior by Lance/Tug. People close to him probably have no idea what he did here....

People close to you have no idea :shake:

... oh wait, you were openly discussing it all along.

Calling it "essentially trivial" and then drawing the parallel to Sandusky is pretty telling.

It isn't really comparable, though. That loon faction seems far more upset that someone would screw over their social media nonsense than little boys under their school's watch.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be brief. The issue here is not whether I broke their trust, or took a few liberties with the cult - I did.

Honestly....Reply I don't even know the IP address. The guy's last message on this board was this:

http://bwi.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?sid=890&fid=36&mid=157860996&tid=157860996&style=1

This little dust-up reminds us all once again that there are jerks and monsters living among us, and most of us cannot look with suspicion at everyone we deal with--or we would shrivel up and die.

Could I have somehow figured out that this guy was a troll and fake so that he couldn't have had a little fun at the expense of Penn State fans? I should have done more.... [I trust that most Penn Staters get the point that I'm making]

So, now this becomes a "teaching moment" to show how JoePed could have been fooled.

I also like how they need to believe that I lived and breathed this in some underground lair. If there was one entire week that I devoted more than 90 minutes combined to answering their e-mails, establishing my cred on BWI and posting on the facebook and twitter pages, I'll be shocked.

I spent more time reporting back to you sick fucks.
