Maybe by then Penn State fans will realize what their University did was wrong.

I couldn't help but chuckle and throw up a little after reading this comment on that article.

I think Penn State should refuse to accept sponsorship in those other sports. All in or get out.

A number of people pointed out yesterday that with the sanctions blowing away everything past 1998, Paterno's last win was in 1997 with McQueary as his QB.

I was going back through the box score archives at USA Today and found that '97 game recap:

Near as I can gather from other sources this amounts to Kiffin having contacted PSU about talking to Redd. There is zero evidence suggesting Redd has any interest.


Then again, Braxton Miller may be going to USC as well.

This is a chance for these kids to separate themselves from the cultish attitude that permeates that place. Good luck to them.

I know that the entire tone of your post was facetious, but this is the best justification for the death penalty for Penn State. Erase Joe Pa's memory, clean out Joe Pa's coaches and players, and start over after a year or two off.
