Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Finally - the post-season awards are getting fixed so Penn State can't sweep them. Or even win them.

If they had an award for getting trucked into the end zone by a QB with a bad leg (maybe the Bozworth award?) he's a shoe in.

Also liked his work on the first OT TD, in giving Decker a good upper body work out as he pushed Hull nearly out of the back of the end zone.

The leaping penalty was a nice finishing touch. It's only been a rule for 5-10 years, big time players come through in big time games something something.

And now they're glad that Barrett got his eye gouged. If their motto is "success with honor", should we infer that the second half of the motto is "failing with dishonor"?

If OSU isn't going to get called for the bull$hit they were up to, I'm SO GLAD Bell did this. I'm very proud of him for realizing he had the opportunity, and taking it. After seeing what OSU got away with, I just can't bring myself to have any sympathy for Barrett, or remorse as a PSU fan/alum.

I like this topic: the rumor is that a Penn State player once complained to an official about a non-call, and the official said something like, "you're just lucky to be playing football". So a guy asks BWI to confirm whether its a real story, or urban legend. 3-4 people reply that it's real, and their proof is that they tell their story. Some back it up with, "someone posted a link here once". The thing I like about it is that each has his own version of the story. It was Mauti (RIP) in one story, McGloin in another... Then the original poster says something like, "Thanks - I knew this story was true".
