Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Do they think that Rutgers is the only fanbase that considers them Pedo St?

Saw a response on some website last week from a tsun fan complaining because someone from Spartyville called them "scum." The person was whining that no one but an msu fan would do that. :slappy:

These people need to get out more. Or, at least occasionally venture outside their own boards.

Look, Joesus was a saint, and all, but thanks to the evil NCAA, he was limited in the number of recruits he was allowed. He can only save that many souls. And even then, he can only save those who want to be saved.
"To save souls you shall grasp the Holy Hand Grenade of Knittany in thy hand grasping the pin with thy other hand. Then thou shalt pull the pin and count to 409. Thou shalt not count to 408 except to continue right on to 409. Neither shalt thou count to 410. 298 is straight out.

7th grade or 70 years old, if you don't think "Howie Feltersnatch" is pure winning, there's something wrong with you.
Fuck you, Ord. I'm seventy-one and you don't see me using names like Louella Fartstick, Mike Hunt, Kid Needialysis. Of course I do yell at the damn kids who keep getting in my yard, but that's what you have to do these days. It's that damn so called music they all listen to.

How much do I get for this nugget of gold? The thread is about Michigan students calling to boycott the kick-off against Penn State. Someone chimes in saying that Penn State never tried to make their school look bad. But that's not the gold. The gold is this part:

Well, some would say the media driven student "riot" after Joe's firing did that, unfortunately.

So, 1. it wasn't a real riot. That van tipped itself over, and those images that I saw that night - that was CGI? You don't need a Rodney King or the more recent guy in Missouri (why can't I recall his name?) to make a "true" riot, you know.
and 2. Whatever students that WERE involved in that "riot" - the media made them do it?

I think this need to sanitize everything to make themselves perfect in every way (there was no riot, he didn't shit his pants, the football players didn't really attack that room full of students, he really was coaching from the press box and so on) is actual clinical mental illness on a group scale.

It has long been The Cult's stance that there was no "riot" on the night Paterno was fired. Supposedly, the van was tipped over because media members inserted themselves into the story by urging students to tip over the van, since there was no story if the students were simply engaged in a peaceful gathering.

Interesting. Add the fact that I am so removed from the cult that I never heard that claim to my list of things I am thankful for.

yes a few students turned over a media van. and they were punished for it through a fair judicial process. Speaking with people who were present for this protest, many have stated the media were "disappointed" it was so peaceful and began egging on mostly drunk/borderline unruly students. not saying this excuses their actions, but it just puts it a little in to context. There was also the E$PiN reporter who said people were throwing rocks at him except . . . no one could find any rocks.
no blood, no rocks, no crimes

Jesus.

It would not surprise me to find out that the so called "rioters" were actually planted into the largely peaceful protesters by our cowardly BOT, the NCAA and Big Ten front offices, in order to stir up trouble. I have an extremely difficult time believing that anyone who supports Joe Paterno would act in such a manner, when Joe, himself, denounced that type of behavior. Of course, our illustrious BOT and their allies, the Big Ten and NCAA had a vested interest in seeing thuggery and violence, but when it was apparent that the protesters were practicing non-violence, the BOT, NCAA and Big Ten must have been willing to try anything to break out their dogs, water cannons and rubber bullets/tear gas. It is a testament to our young people who showed their utmost respect to Joe and his ways, by not falling for these charlatans' ruse, and showing the world that Success With Honor is not just about football.

So the grand conspiracy between the ncaa, the b10 office and the psu board were so quick acting they were able to dispatch operatives to make the peaceful protest into a riot the night all this wemt down???? That's one organized and efficient group.
