Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

I can tell you, and @BuckeyeNation27 can attest too, it goes far beyond even the alumni. It's an infection within that state, especially the central and western parts of it.
I can vouch for the PSU alumni/fans in Delaware & South Jersey as well. They are nearly all cultists. They quietly cheer for PSU but as soon as the topic of the sanctions and Paterno comes up they almost all react the same. Defiant, unapologetic and in denial.

Nothing good will come of backing off on the sanction. It just encourages the crazy Joebots to want more. In their minds they have full justification for everything they have believed, now. Bring out the statue so the whole world can see the ugliness. Let the whole world see the despicable cult in all it's ugliness. Morally bankrupt.

Don't get me wrong, Southeastern PA Buck Hunter mkes me weep for humanity. But I have always thought "pnnylion" was the craziest Cultist. That dude is such a Joebot that he has been banned and forced to come out with new names many times on Audibles (Harvey23 is pnnylion's current moniker on Audibles). Even fellow Cult members regularly call out pnnylion on Audibles for being a nut. Read the comments section of any negative artiicle about Penn St./Paterno and there is a good chance that pnnylion/John Tratur will be in the comments section. In the past, pnnylion/Tratur has scoured various rivals sites and left nasty comments in the profiles of anyone who speaks ill of Paterno.

I am sure most people on here are familiar with indynittany's body of work on message boards everywhere, but 9Fold and Chi Town Lion also make for delightful reading.

pnnylion has an interesting facebotch page too --> https://www.facebook.com/john.tratur?fref=ts

We had a list a couple years ago now of the craziest of the crazies. Sgtcarter made the list too.
Let's not forget MaryLuvslions and the "No blood, No Rape"

Its called the second amendment.

Sadly, when the Second Amendment was crafted, the IQ test hadn't been created yet. Otherwise, in their wisdom, the founding dads might have included a passing grade on one as a qualifying condition*.

*Would only partially help with the PedState types, of course, since IQ level and lunacy are not necessarily related.

Trust me, TPTB are perfectly happy with idiots owning guns. They know the ignorant masses are too stupid to remove the people that are enslaving them.

When it was passed the 2nd Amendment made sense. People who read it will be familiar with the fact that it's about organized militias having the right to bear arms, and reading laws about how the military was structured the year before -- essentially every able bodied man was obligated to be a member of their local militia.
That's long since ceased to be the case, however. The militia have morphed into the Army and Air National Guards where they are largely federalized. Ostensibly they act under a very confusing dual chain of command w/ Title32 (Governor/State control) and Title10 (Federal control). But the overwhelming majority of funding (and thus influence) comes from the Federal side. In order to be a member of today's "organized militia", one must go to a federal military branch' boot camp, professional training, wear their uniforms, meet their physical and proficiency requirements, etc.

The people who preach the 2nd Amendment today have no military training with their weapons, let alone any physical fitness standards, or in any way a member of an "organized militia". Rather they often speak about how they need these weapons to rise up against the government that guarantees them.

Back then, firearms were an important tool for the nation of yeoman farmers that Jefferson et al., envisioned for this country - they were actually used for hunting and defense from Indian raids and wild animal attacks on people and livestock. They were also a LOT less powerful than the weapons we have today.
